FRED CRAY

Fred Cray was born in Evanston, Illinois in 1957. After graduating from Middlebury College (B.A.) and Yale University School of Art (M.F.A. Painting,) Cray moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he continues to reside.

Cray’s solo exhibitions include Middlebury College, The Hotchkiss School, University of Colorado, Boulder, and his work has been included in exhibitions at White Columns, NY; Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography; International Center of Photography, NY. Public collections include The Museum of the City of New York; Middlebury College of Art; Smith College Museum of Art; Brooklyn Museum of Art; and others.
